On December 9, Global Pinoy culminates an event that exclusively for Global Pinoy OFW’s. There are 46 SM Supermalls participated in the simultaneous event. Lot of OFW’s in their families enjoyed the event called “PAMASKONG HANDOG PARA SA GLOBAL PINOY”. Lot of up stakes given to those who won the raffles.
This is the event that families of Overseas Filipino Workers had fun and entertained by some of the local artists. Though, in SM Manila where I’d cover the said event has no celebrity performance. Even there’s no celebrity, there are some group of Teens that entertained the crowd.
Here are the list of Participating SM SuperMalls that gave back some of the joyful gifts to the Global Pinoy OFW’s. SM North Edsa, SM Baguio, SM Rosales, SM Cauayan, SM Tarlac, SM Olongapo, SM MegacenterCabanatuan, SM Cabanatuan, SM Pampanga, SM Clark, SM San Fernando, SM Marilao, SM Valenzuela, SM Baliwag, SM Fairview, SM Novaliches, SM Sta. Mesa, SM Manila, SM San Lazaro, SM Angono, SM Pasig, SM Taytay, SM San Mateo, SM Masinag, SM Marikina, SM Las Piñas, SM Bicutan, SM Sucat, SM Dasmariñas, SM Bacoor, SM Molino, SM Rosario, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Muntinlupa, SM San Pablo, SM Calamba, SM Lucena, SM Batangas, SM Lipa, SM Naga, SM Consolacion, SM Iloilo, SM Bacolod, SM Davao, SM General Santos, and SM Cagayan de Oro.
There are some OFW’s also who gave their experiences and messages about the OFW community. And aside from raffles and entertainment. The Global Pinoy wants to campaign about the warmest celebration of Christmas herein the Philippines. That’s why during the event, they used the hashtag #PASKOsaPINAS for all social media postings.
